To support employed and working professionals in enhancing their skills and academic qualifications, AICTE has introduced a special provision that allows flexibility in the scheduling of theory and practical classes.

Under this provision, institutes may conduct classes at flexible timings, including beyond regular office hours, to accommodate the professional commitments of working learners. This initiative is aimed at enabling professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skills without compromising their employment responsibilities.

It is important to note that programmes offered under this provision will be treated as regular mode programmes and not as evening or part-time courses. All institutes implementing this strictly comply with the guidelines issued by AICTE from time to time.

Working professionals who hold ITI (or equivalent), Diploma, or Undergraduate qualifications and are enrolled in regular Diploma, Undergraduate, or Postgraduate programmes, respectively, shall be eligible to attend both theory and practical classes through flexible scheduling.
